BLESSED TO GIVE
“For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat.” - Matthew 25:35
In 2006, this outreach ministry started on the corners of Fayette and Park Avenue, where we served complete hot meals, distributed warm clothes and shared the word of salvation to many men, women, and children. Since then God has opened the doors to continue this ministry at the Weinberg Housing and Resource Center in Baltimore. There, we lift up the name of Jesus by teaching about the wonderful plan of salvation, giving testimonies of hope and faith, request for prayer is rendered, and delicious lunches are served. My Sister’s Place has welcomed us to prepare a delicious brunch and to share words of inspiration to women who are making positive changes to improve their lives. We are thankful for these opportunities to follow in the footsteps of our Savior Jesus Christ. It is a blessing to let people know that they are loved and at the same time give glory to God. It is more blessed to give than to receive.
