QA: What is the Controversy between Good and Evil?

The controversy between good and evil began in heaven. It is between Jesus and Satan. Satan, who was named Lucifer in heaven, was an anointed angel. He rebelled against God when he desired to be exalted above God. Lucifer was cast from heaven into the earth. From that point, there remains a struggle between good and evil. This controversy will end at the second appearing of Christ. (Isaiah 14:12-15; Matthew 24:29-31).
