Scriptures: Genesis 3:15, Isaiah 53:5-12
Our Heavenly Father, God Almighty, had prepared and made a way for the world to be saved from the enemy Satan. That way is through his son Jesus Christ. God loves us so much, he did not want his creation to perish but to seek him and draw closer to him.
Jesus Christ was prophesied in the Old Testament to be the Messiah who would come and redeem the world of sin and to defeat the power of death. In Isaiah, Jesus is described to be the holiest person sent from heaven to endure betrayal, false accusation, a painful punishment, and a merciless death on a cross. And through it all, Jesus did not say a single word. He did not use the power God gave him to come down from the cross. Jesus died for the world because he loves us.
He loves you.
Jesus paid it all for us so we do not have to pay this debt. God requires his people to seek him, repent, forgive, be baptized, study the Word, pray without ceasing, and spread love to everyone even our enemies.
We must continue to put our trust in God to care for us every single day. We must obey his commandments and prove ourselves worthy to meet him one day. We must revisit the cross daily and remember how Jesus bled for us. God is a god of peace and he only wants what is best for his people. He does not want us to live in a life of sin. He wants us to be happy and to endure to the end so we can live with him eternally.
