Scripture: Revelation 4:1-11
Our message today comes from the book of prophecies given by God to Apostle John the Revelator on the Isle of Patmos. The enemy had tried to shut up John in prison, but God still used this situation to give him what we know as today as Revelation.
God had revealed himself to John in a great vision to show us today that even right now in the midst of a viral pandemic, God is still on the Throne. He has not gone anywhere nor has he forsaken us. While we go through trials, uncertainties, discouragement, worry, and even discrimination, God gives us His Word to remind us that he is still in charge. That God has the final say over everything. That he allows Satan to commit his evils and deceptions so we can open out eyes and see that we do need God in every aspect of our lives.
God wants us to continue to look, to depend, and to trust in God’s mercy, love, and grace. Never give up on God because he will never give up on you. The Word revealed to John and to us what is going on around his throne every single day. He had created beautiful creatures to give him praise day and night. And we must do the same.
It is good to know that God has made man worthy and blessed by the blood of Jesus Christ. So we must give God:
Glory – meaning highest praise.
Honor – meaning highest reverence.
Power – meaning when we acknowledge who God is to those around us and to the world, in return God gives us strength and power in our daily life, personal life, and spiritual life.
So while you’re wondering what is going on with this pandemic, remember this world cannot last forever in its wickedness. God gave us Revelation and its prophecies so we can get saved now and know what is to come. And above all to remember that God is still in control and that you are not alone.
We hope you receive a blessing from the Word of God today given by our Pastor Tylvia E. Koromah.
