Sermon Take Away: “God Sees You”

God is a great God! He is so merciful, just, and good all the time. His power is seen in all of his creations. He is omnipresent, What a blessing to know that “God Sees You”.

The life of King David is written in the psalms. He wrote his deepest devotions of his faithful relationship with God. He was very familiar with his power and all honor that was due to him. The ways of every person is taken into account, “and thou acquainted with all my ways.” He knows the good and the bad. Everything about us is important to him. He is aware of every pain, hurt, and even anger. Yet he give us mercies, grace, and his enduring love. He promised, ” he will never leave us nor forsake us”.

In the promise that God sees you is a constant assurance that he is everything to us. There is no hiding place from him. In the darkness of sin, we are seen. He made us with individual personalities, but we all made after his image. If you need him, call on him. Don’t hesitate to seek God for wisdom about all things. He will not deny you and in his time he will answer your prayers.

These are times that our young people must know their importance. There are no age or gender barriers when it comes to the love and attention of God. Let them know that they matter very much. Encourage them to be kind and respectful to adults and one another. Teach them that God knew all of us before we were born. His ways are not like ours. The love of God is what helps us to become faithful to him.

“Eyes hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered unto the heart of man, the things that God has prepared for them that love him.” He has plans for you, but you must believe in him. We see as far as our arm length, but he sees everything. Take his word and apply it, “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me and know my thoughts.” Let him purify you and never let go of him. Remember that you belong to God.

To be in the presence of God means that we have his attention at all times, through the love sacrifice of our blessed Savior Jesus Christ. This is why we must seek his forgiveness daily and ask for his continual mercies and grace. Each of us have a purpose in life. Just as the life of David was written, there are angels writing your life book. Continue to seek, study, and apply his word to yourself. Give God, who sees you, a try.
