Sermon Take Away: "In The Name of Jesus"

Matthew 6:26; Philippians 2:9,10

We are glad to be here in the name of Jesus! Do you realize how much we depend on Jesus Christ? Our life is all in his great name. He wants us to believe and be faithfully persuaded that the Father has given him all authority.

In these days and times, we must remember the responsibilities of church ministries is to lift Jesus up even more. We must keep teaching and talking about the importance of accepting the gift of salvation. Continue to spread the promise that God the Father has a handle on the affairs of the world according to his written word, "The earth is the Lord's...". In Jesus, God has a divine will to complete in the life of this world.

People of faith give thanks, pray, praise, and make request all in Jesus name. Belonging to Christ, gives us the honor to call on him as often as we need. He wants us to trust in him for all things. He will take care of us. But we must believe and remain faithful to him. Jesus taught that the fowls of the air and lilies of the field are taken care of by God. How much more will he take care of us? Don't worry about the high cost of living, taxes, and the other matters that will come our way. In that powerful name of Jesus, we don't have to worry. Believe him for all matters that concern you. There is nothing about us that is minimal. He gave his life to take on our burdens. It is up to us to trust in him.

While the world will follow their own, church ministries must continue to lift up and follow Jesus. Keep him in the center of all things, who has the final say in our life. Keep testifying of him, acknowledge who he is, and what he does for you everyday. Renew your faith morning by morning in Jesus name! “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth."
