Psalm 18:30; I Peter 5:6; Isaiah 40:28-31; 55:8,9
Jesus Christ is the answer for the world today. We can depend on him for all things. Take a step back and let him have his way. Man is limited, but in Christ there are no limits. He is powerful in all things. In Christ, we see that God is perfect. He has no fault nor failure. “As for God, his way is perfect…” His way is different from us. For he sees the bigger picture. “He is a buckler to all those that trust in him.” A buckler is a seal to protect the body. God is that shield to protect us. Let him have his way. Pray and stay before him.
God will answer your prayer in his times. No matter how long or the gravity of a problem, he is in control. Lazarus, a friend of Jesus, was ill. His sisters wanted Jesus to immediately come and heal their brother. He continued in the work that he was doing at that time. By the time he arrived, four days later, Lazarus had died. Jesus wept because the people had lack of faith. Even though there may appear no hope for deliverance, we must remember he knows all things and is very much aware of our every need. He called for Lazarus to rise. Life and death are in his control.
God commands that we seek him and we shall find him. He wants us to be happy and enjoy the blessings in life. To suffer is not his will. But in sufferings, he wants us to trust in his way. He knows everything about us. In the trials of his people, he shows up on time in power and authority.
“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.” Job remained humbled doing his troubles and kept in dependence in God. He was restored greater than before his troubles. “Casting all your cares upon him: for he careth for you”. If God did not care for us, he would not have given us Jesus Christ, “his only begotten son for the sins of the world”. It is in Christ, we see the deepness of his love for humanity. Our minds must be made up that no matter what comes our way, we will let Jesus have his way, he is in control.
“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills.” Remember it is not over yet. Our God will neither faint, get weary or tired. His understanding is beyond human comprehension. Yet he is very clear and responsive to his people. “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength” is for us to let him have his way.
The bible teaches us so much about God. His thoughts and ways are not like us. All the happenings in the world are a wake call to accept and serve Jesus now. Don’t let the enemy discourage you or make you feel like you are nothing, that is his plan. Jesus is coming back! Now is the opportunity to believe why you have a free choice and to let Jesus have his way in your life.
