Sermon Take Away: “Saved By Hope”

Romans 15:13; 8:24; Jeremiah 29:11

God is my everything. These are words of hope in him. Hope is an expectation of something good. It is a belief or conviction that God can do all things. Many today lack hope because of the circumstances in their life. But believers, even though we have our share of challenges, we remain steadfast that we are saved by hope in Jesus Christ.

The Apostle Paul taught inspiring words about saved by hope. Salvation is not something that is seen with the naked eye. It is accepted in the faith of knowing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Salvation has nothing to do with earning God’s favor or in what position we may have in life. Salvation is total belief in Jesus. If you are looking for something better in life, it must be found in him.

Our faith in hope is understood by God. He knows the meaning of our prayers because he sees the heart. The main thing that people want is happiness. Happiness that the world gives does not last. God gives us happiness in a spiritual way of joy. His joy is constant regardless of present state because it is in the belief that our life is in the hands of Jesus. He has the power to do things in our lives.

God in all this love and wisdom gives us the best in all things. When we ask for success, he gives us blessings. When we need rest, he gives us the Sabbath Day. When we need redemption, he gives us Jesus Christ. When we seek for a better home of peace and love, he gives us heaven. In Jeremiah 29, he tells us that his plan for us is good and not evil to give to us an expected in. The words that God speak are hope. He let’s us know that he is with us.

Without Jesus, there is no hope. Everything in life is centered on our relationship with him. Through his redemption power, we have a way to escape those difficult days. God the Father gave him power of all things. Yes, Jesus has power of all the ways that the enemy will attempt to take your hope for good things. This is why we love him and continue to lean on him. Take time to pray and to tell him know your thoughts. Let him know that are a believer in his promises as given in his word. Hope thrives in prayer.
