Sermon Take Away: "Simply Rejoice"

Writer: Path of Righteousness Church in ChristPath of Righteousness Church in Christ

Rejoice in the Lord is a heartening command to do regardless of current circumstances. Rejoice in times of sorrow, as well as in times of pleasure. The joy that his Spirit gives is a contentment of being in God. It is to trust him regardless. Pray without ceasing makes this all possible. Prayer becomes like the air that we breath. Air is not seen. Yet we constantly consume it. Faithful prayer is not an afterthought. The presence of God becomes part of who we are. Therefore, the mind to call him for guidance and to give him thanks is always with his people.

When we rejoice and pray without ceasing, it leads to give thanks in every things. This includes those most challenging times in which faith must not waiver. Because our joy is found in his love and we always pray to him, we accept that this is the will of God. In prayers that have not been answered, will be answered, or already answered, believe that it is all in his will concerning you. He has the power to do all things. "For he spake, and it was done, he commanded, and it stood fast."   He is the same God that gives strength when your own strength faith.

Don't complain. You may not understand it, many not agree with it, but still simply rejoice. Rejoice because God is in all things concerning you. Keep believing that he has all power and that you belong to him.
