The Holy Spirit is a person in the Spirit. He is Jesus Christ in the Spirit. He co-exist with the Father and the Son. He is to be acknowledged for the works which he does in the life of believers.

Jesus was the teacher, guide and comforter for the people during his life on earth. Jesus represented the presence of God. His power channeled through the life of Christ to empower him to teach the word with authority and to heal many of divers diseases, sicknesses and evil spirits. Where there was doubt about Jesus, his reply was ” or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

Jesus spoke of the Spirit to come after his death, “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter that he may abide with you forever” upon his departure. The presence of the Spirit makes us feel part of something. Yes, we are in the plans of Christ. Man is born with a human spirit and the Holy Spirit. The human spirit makes distinctions of good and bad and expresses feelings. The Holy Spirit is given to believers who confess that Jesus Christ is his Lord and Savior. It is very important to have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is our guide, he is the conscious to teach and reveal the word of God. He is given to help in times of temptations of the devil.

In the natural, fruit is nutrient and aides in good health. In the spiritual, the fruit of the Spirit, is imperative to a healthy spiritual life. The gift of the Holy Spirit bears fruit that is very beneficial to believers. To become fruitful, we should have a spirit of love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. All of these fruits are equally important in the life of a believer. It is interesting that long-suffering means to be determined to go through difficulty trusting in the help of the Lord. Whereas suffering involves going through but not necessary trusting in the Lord. The Holy Spirit is the only one that will help us in times of trials and life challenges.

The Holy Spirit is given to mold, shape and to fill us in the love of God. Let us take the time to nurture him. Acknowledge that he is present to empower us to do the work of our Savior, Jesus Christ. To listen to this very inspirational message, visit our Facebook page. God bless you.
