The moral laws, which is the Ten Commandments, is a reflection of God himself. His law is moral, spiritual, universal, and perpetual. The Ten Commandments is moral because it conveys a pattern of conduct for humanity. The law is spiritual because only those who love God and have trusted in the empowerment of his Spirit can obey it. He empowers those who believe and have a desire to do his will with his Spirit. The law is universal because it applies to all people. There is no law, no religious institution or government that will ever supersede the will of God. The law is perpetual because it will never change. God is love and his love will never change.
The law is an expression of God. It is given to govern the human behavior until the end of this world. The observance of the Ten Commandments (law) as a whole has been rejected. Instead of accepting what God has commanded, man have changed the words to adhere to his convenience. It is often misunderstood as the law that was done away with at the cross. Why would God do away with a law that commands love to him and to each other? “Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.”(Romans 7:12)
We hope you enjoy this very inspired word on each of the ten commandments from Pastor Koromah and a panel of ministers on our Facebook page, "The Ten Commandments" Part I; The Ten Commandments, Part II; and The Ten Commandments, Part III.
