Our faith is in such a merciful God. We must continue to thank him and acknowledge his ownership of this earth. It has been a very difficult week for many families who are
experiencing a level of grief that words cannot describe. We will continue to keep them in our prayers. He knows and cares about every one of them.
Families are very important to God. It is no secret that the devices of Satan continue to steal, kill, and destroy families since the beginning of creation. When we continue to hear incidents of mass school shootings, our hearts are heavy because we are concern about our young people.
In the gospel of Matthew, children were in the presence of Jesus. The disciples tried to dismiss them. But Jesus said, “Suffer the little children to come, and forbid them not, to come unto me; for of such is the kingdom of heaven”. He invited the children to come and to be blessed. He set an example of keeping our children in the mix of learning the love and power of God. Every human being has the right to hear and learn about him. Don’t deny or put young people in a place where they will be ashamed or not given the opportunity to hear the word of God. “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God”.
Discussions and debates about weapons and regulations continue among political leaders. They do not have the answers to stop massive violence crisis. Passing laws and establishing methods of school security is not working. The problems are far deeper than ink on paper. The heart and minds of individuals must be changed.
It is in the faith of God, that the church seeks the mercies and deliverance from God. For we interpret things carnal and spiritual, given credence to God above. It is by the his Spirit that he reveals the problems in our families, communities, states, and throughout this world are the result of a spiritual battle between good and evil. We are in a spiritual battle for life and death. This may seem unreal to many. But again, you must be a believer of the one only true God, the Creator of heaven and earth, to grasp hold of this truth.
Parents, guardians, and adults must take a stronger role to teach and to discipline children that there is a God in heaven, who loves them. We must live more of an example in love. Weapons should not be in the company of any young person. Weapons present an immediate way to solve or get out of something when one is going through a dark time in his life. There is a great opposition against young people because they have so much positive potential. Only in Christ will we understand and find the answers to help them.
Our young people are destined to do great ministry work for God. In Joel 2:28, “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions; And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out of my spirit."
We will continue to keep families who are going through this horrific grief in our deepest prayers. God cares about all of the grief and sufferings that families are going through. He gave us the best answer to all things. Yes, Jesus Christ, the savior of the world. He gave his life for the sins of the world. We will only find real peace when we really get to know Jesus.
